The saying goes, "build a better mouse trap, and the world will beat a
path to your door." For Rhinotronix, a more fitting saying would be,
build a better computer mouse enhanced with logos from alma maters
and colleges across the nation and college students, alumni and sports fans will
fill your in-box with orders for the product.
The company started in 2002, with a trip to the University of Oregon
bookstore. The founder of Rhinotronix was a student at the university
at the time, and was looking for a way to show his school spirit
through his computer accessories. Among the sweatshirts, coffee cups,
and bumber stickers adorned with the UO insignia, he was surprised to
find the store didn't carry any greeen and yellow computer mice. After
some research on various university web sties and fan sites, he
couldn't find anyone who created or marketed such a product. This
idea was different.
Rhinotronix is now the industry leader for University computer accessories,
and is always looking to bring that next niche product to market for the college
student, alumni, or sports fan, that want's to show their true colors on their way to,
from, and at the office.
